The project doubled the size of the City's facilities for public works and parks maintenance activities with construction of two new buildings and remodeling of four buildings. The entire 7 acre site was paved and a new storm water system installed. Two old fuel systems were removed and a new underground system installed. An existing multipurpose building was remodeled for Public Works. The building accommodates administrative offices, crew facilities, and vehicle maintenance shops. An old metal building was remodeled and expanded to accommodate Parks administrative offices, crew facilities, shops, and storage. A new decant drying facility was constructed which also accomodates street waste.
